Moment shoes, more than a moment

Whispers, footsteps, giggles... they are a small group of boys and girls from the fifth and sixth grades who went down the kindergarten hall at noon... I look at the clock and it's 2:35 p.m., now I'm starting to fit everything in, they're the students who do the shoe moment

I watch them and enjoy their desire to help the boys and girls in P1, P2 and P3 to wake up from their nap. With what gentleness they do it, in what a warm way!, so little by little the little ones at school are opening their eyes and I think what a beautiful wake up!.

Once on your feet and already with your shoes and/or boots on, all that sweetness fades away turning into a fun game, full of tickling, laughter and the exchange of words creating a complicity that can only be understood as a child.

How important these 20 minutes are! Adults feel valued, needed and loved. They go to their bigger classrooms still and with 20 kilos more boost of self-esteem. And the little ones say goodbye with a hug, a smile from their new older friend or as some say: their older brother from school. And the more shy ones only give them a simple "Goodbye" but if you look at the sparkle in their eyes they are wanting to say "I'll wait for you tomorrow".

After great moments, however short they may be, unforgettable moments remain.
