we are family
This year the students of 2nd year of secondary school we had the pleasure of getting to know our classmates in person Sacred Hearts of Miranda de Ebro.
We carried out a common project with different themes depending on the content worked on in each community. This project ended with a trip and visit to each SSCC school in order to learn first hand what was studied.
Our trip to Miranda was an incredible experience, how did our students experience it?

The adventure begins. What nerves! A long journey awaits us, but we are very much looking forward to meeting up with our colleagues from Miranda who already came to visit us a few days ago.
The project is interesting. They came to meet Gaudí and we will take a trip into the past to meet Cid Campeador. I'm curious What will your school be like? And how will we sleep?
We have arrived! At last! What a strange feeling. What a beautiful school! They are surrounded by nature. The colleagues are coming. Looking forward to seeing them and talking to them. They have prepared some medieval games and snacks for us in the middle of the forest. What a laugh! And then let's get to know the city of Miranda with our new friends.
time to sleep My mother! What a commotion! 83 students together in the school sports hall. Poor teachers, may nothing happen to them!

Today it's Burgos. We will visit the cathedral and see the famous flycatcher, we will go to the Museum of Human Evolution and do a gymnasium through the city that will take us to the castle. It was a lot of fun, luckily we didn't get lost.
We are dead and dying to go back to school, but happy with the experience. Today we are more tired, we will sleep for sure. It's 12 o'clock at night, still with a lot of charged battery. I don't know where we get it from. Poor professors, they are already starting to make bad faces and lose their voices.

Time passes very quickly. Today we are leaving. Let's go to church and say a little prayer. We give thanks for these days together. They welcomed us very well and we felt very loved. They teach us their motto. Yes, they also have a year-round motto that comes from a song just like us. I really like the idea and that we share these initiatives. I realize they do a lot of things similar to what we do.
We visit the castle of Miranda, the Botanical garden and the city where you can already breathe a medieval atmosphere. The fair begins. What a shame we're leaving. We go up to the viewpoint. What peace! What beautiful landscapes.
It's almost time to leave. I'm sorry to say goodbye. I wouldn't leave right now. When will I see my colleagues from Miranda again? Maybe Instagram won't be enough.
let's go back We have a long way to go. I have a lot of time on the bus to think about everything we've been through these days. It has been a different joint project, a new experience that we will surely always remember. A trip with a different perspective, a trip where I not only learned content but also met new people and had the opportunity to see another Sacred Heart school.
It has been a very enriching experience, not only because of everything we have seen and learned on this trip to the past but also because of meeting our colleagues from Miranda. During these three days we were able to see that despite being far away and being a different school, we have many points in common.
We are Sacred Hearts. The school, the teachers and the students have received us very well and we have felt very welcome and loved at all times. We thank them and, above all, we take with us a new and beautiful experience that we will surely remember forever.
Thank you Sacred Hearts!!
We invite you to watch the video summary of the two experiences.
