ACCOMPANY ME: If you help me, I can. When I help you, I learn

At the Padre Damián school, we firmly believe in creating positive bonds between students. For this reason, for some years now we have been promoting moments in which adults and children share and help each other. Example of this is the Accompany me project.

For us it is very important that the children feel at home at school and we are aware of the challenge it poses, for 3-year-olds, to start P3, to move around the school... Thanks to this impulse, they very soon understand that in school, like home we are a big family.

Thanks to activities like “Back to school", the little ones see that they not only have their classmates and teachers, but also have allies... the older students.
They take their hand, their arm, sing to them, make them smile and manage to create a bond that will give security and confidence to the little one. Together they run for all the children who are fighting leukemia.

The children, thanks to the example they receive, learn that in our school the adults take care of the children, respect them and help them. So, in the future, they will do the same.
For their part, the older ones continue to cultivate empathy, respect for others and enrich their social skills, finding a way to relate to the little ones.

The proposal arises from the project WE GROW TOGETHER, which the school develops to foster the relationship between students from different years, enhance the sense of belonging and continue on the path of growth towards excellence.

Everyone is definitely a winner.
