January, month of Peace

At the school we work day by day on respect, conflict resolution, non-violence. "It's the school of Peace", say the children.

During the month of January, from pastoral care we propose activities to do with the students. This year, we made a traffic light. Red light for everything that does not bring peace, yellow light for actions that help us solve conflicts and green light for what brings peace.

In addition to working on it with classmates, we met with our twinning and shared our traffic lights.

On January 30th, the day of Peace and Non-violence, we celebrated an act for Peace in which we all joined in concentric circles to sing the songs we have been learning in class this month.

A very emotional act, and full of looks and gestures of PEACE.

Now, let's keep doing our bit to live in a world where violence has no place.
