Act of recognition and congratulations for the Kangaroo Tests

the Kangaroo Tests, organized by the Catalan Mathematics Society (SCM) consist of 30 math challenge/problem questions of increasing difficulty and closed-ended (5 possible options). 

Participants must solve the questions in 75 minutesuts and no calculator. These tests began to be carried out in the 80s in Australia. 

Currently more than 60 countries organize Kangaroo Tests within a program known as a kangaroo sans Frontières

In Catalonia, they will be held simultaneously in all participating centers.

Today we did one act of recognition with the students from 1st ESO to 1st Baccalaureate to all participants and a special congratulations to the best student of each level who scored in the tests within 5.5% of the best scores. 

1st high school out of 19,347 participants, our student came in 417th position.

2nd ESO none of the students presented succeeded.

3rd ESO out of 15,838 participants, our students were in positions 385, 635 and 756.

4th ESO out of 10,619 participants, our students came in 47th, 305th and 330th positions.

1st high school out of 3,372 participants, our students came in 93rd and 156th positions.
