We are a solidarity school
In the second quarter of this year we collaborated in different solidarity campaigns.
The first campaign we participated in was that of united hands that, under the motto "The one who suffers the most from the mistreatment on the planet was not you.”, wants to fight for a sustainable planet and against poverty and care for the environment, our “common home”.
That is why Mans Unides promotes an ecological culture that educates about the consequences of climate change. The collection of this campaign was of 1.274,86 €
The Chocolate Solidarity is an initiative of the Hospital Sant Joan de Déu for the investigation of childhood cancer, which invites schools, companies or organizations to organize a chocolate party to raise funds for the research of this disease in theSant Joan de Déu Hospital, coinciding with February 15, International Childhood Cancer Day.
With the motto Stain yourself for childhood cancer!, on Carnival Friday, in the afternoon, the school held its own third chocolate in the playground of Primary 1 where all the children from Kindergarten and Primary participated and it was collected 940,69€!
The Magic Line of the Hospital Sant Joan de Déu, with the motto Walking transforms, invites everyone who wants to walk through Barcelona for a charitable cause, this year the walk was for people at risk.
The school, through theSocial Action, has participated in two different ways.
The students invited part of the teaching staff to participate, making groups and a contribution in the form of a donation. Two groups formed with the teachers they left the Montjuïc springs to walk 10Km as a family. And at the end of the route, a group of volunteers, made up of ours, awaited us high school students, which sealed the penultimate stage of the Magic Line.
The two teams that participated by walking overcame their solidarity challenge where they raised money 1.325€!
