Entrepreneurship at school
On Tuesday, April 9, 3rd and 4th ESO students taking the entrepreneurship elective were able to participate in the national financial education final organized by the Spanish Banking Association (AEB) and the Junior Achievement Foundation .
A total of 30 schools from 17 different provinces participated in the competition, with more than 1,200 students. Since school, the competition has been lived with great intensity and with great effort to win it.
At 12 noon all the students gathered in the robotics classroom. These were divided into two tables. In one the 4th graders were gathered and in the other the 3rd graders. Each group had a code to participate in the Kahoot from which the contest took place. Each table had a computer on which the questions were answered. In addition, each student had four cards of the four colors of the possible solutions. Therefore, on a bigger screen, the live YouTube video played by the organization was projected where the questions and possible answers are shown in the relevant colors. In this way, the students lifted the card of the color of the answer they thought was correct and the person in charge of the computer marked what the majority proposed.
The truth is that the performance of our students was excellent, especially that of the 3rd graders, since they were in second place only by a difference of ten points, since the first had 1969 and we 1959, getting 14 out of 15 questions right. Although, the fifteenth could not be answered by any school, since there was an error in the software and for that very reason, the score was assessed on 14 questions. All in all, a full one because they finally got 14 out of 14 questions right. Thus they showed that they had very correctly achieved the talks made by the organization, a few weeks before. They were about to have two students from the same group have the opportunity to represent the team in the European finals to be held in Brussels. But nothing happens because it was still an opportunity from which we all learned, an experience that has been very enriching for all our students!
