The Atelier and Creactiva, classrooms where creativity "awakens"

The reason for the existence of the Atelier and Creactiva arose from the need to stimulate the creative part of our younger students.

We were trained by a specialist in pedagogy REGGIO EMILIA (precursors of this methodology) in the case of Atelier and with the CosmoCaixa in the case of Creactiva. Based on this training, we designed a space that could accompany these new learnings.

The child is the protagonist of these spaces together with the materials well chosen for their properties. They test the versatility of these and explore their dynamic nature. These materials are in themselves stimulating and pleasing in the aesthetic sense of the word.

The boys and girls move freely around the room where proposals have previously been made; these are divided, in theAtelier by context (natural, artistic, light, audiovisual). Each context is designed to stimulate different intelligences. Al creative the contexts change, they are transformed into stop-motion, circuits, constructions and plastic.

The teacher changes his view much more in these two classrooms. There is no such thing as error and no "perfect or equal" final product. We take into account the process until that final product arrives (construction, mini world, plastic creation, combination of materials in the space of light....)
We encourage the pleasure of learning and discovering, learning is connected and the importance of aesthetics is promoted.
A language is created where everyone contributes and learning is stimulated through dialogue, between children and with the materials.
