5th School Excellence Award
The Padre Damián SSCC school celebrated on Saturday, April 27th 5th Excellence Award. A hundred 4th grade high school students have participated 17 schools, 7 private chartered schools and 10 public institutes from all over Catalonia.
The participants took tests in the subjects of Catalan language, Spanish, English, social sciences, mathematics, natural sciences and general culture. The multiple-choice tests were corrected immediately and the results were known by 1 p.m.
The winners have been:
- 1st ranked Sergio Pérez from the INS Lluís Companys
- 2nd ranked the Daniel Carro of the Escola Arrels de Barcelona
- 3rd ranked Blanca Gómez from Escola Sant Bonaventura
Congratulations to all the schools that participated. Being able to do that is already a source of pride. Congratulations to the three winners and their families and schools. We hope that the prize can be used to give them a boost in their learning while helping them to take post-compulsory studies or to improve languages or any area that can be a personal boost.
At Padre Damián College, we believe in the excellence of our students in all the aspects that make up our Student Profile, and the academic field is one of them. We want to continue working to make each student excellent in terms of himself while enhancing his personal talent.
