We participate in the Explainers Program
One more year our students have been selected to participate in the first call of the year in the Explainers Program. This initiative was born from Cosmocaixa with the desire to enhance the scientific vocation in secondary and high school students at the time that they aim to develop a whole series of skills.
For the Explainers, participating in the program means commitment to a project, motivation and ability to adapt to change; share knowledge, learn academically and personally, get excited about science; gain experience and communicate and be creative.
The Explainers receive solid training to face the challenge of answering the questions of visitors from the various participating centers, with rigor and professionalism. Collaborating: CosmoCaixa's educational team and the Scientific Dissemination Area of the "la Caixa" Social Work, ESIC, La Salle, IQS and EUSS. Once the Explainers receive the necessary training tools, they must explain the science in their own words 3 hours a week for 6 weeks.
Each year the selected students express their excellent experience and recommend their colleagues to be encouraged to participate. From the school we value this initiative very positively. We congratulate the participants of this year's call.
