Primary students start the year with "PROJECT 0"
The first days of the 18-19 academic year have been full of news. The boys and girls had to make many decisions as a team, agree and think about what is best for them. The teachers have prepared a project that aims to get the student started and help them grow. All together, through the positive discipline and the work of mediation and coexistence.

It consists of 3 main parts: I, WE (GROUP) THE SCHOOL
We have prepared various activities to work on these three areas:
ME – Self-knowledge
"We want the student to have a good knowledge of himself, helping him to become aware of his talents, his emotions, what he needs to improve and his values. We will work with them to enhance their own self-esteem and, at the same time, promote and consolidate the profile of the Sagrados Cors student."

- Self-awareness – The students have done introspection exercises, and expressed what they like, what worries them, what they like about the school...
- Talking about ourselves with others. – The best of the summer, the books they have read, what they like to do...
- Reflection on attention – What is necessary to be attentive.

- The Portfolio – Each of them has a learning folder where they will put the jobs that mark an important moment in their learning process, an effort, a job they are proud of...
- Mindfulness – Activities to be aware of breathing, control it, return to calm, relax and thus manage emotions better.
WE – THE CLASS GROUP
"We want the student to feel part of the group, loved, valued, respected, listened to, happy, safe and confident. In this way, we want him to be aware that he is an essential member of the group, active and involved in day-to-day life." Getting to know the group – Through games and dynamics that have helped them get to know their new colleagues or discover students who are in the class and who have things in common with them.
- Placement of tables and furniture in the classroom – The situation of the tables plays an important role in the functioning of the classes and the profit that is made from them. As well as the spaces they wanted to achieve by making changes in the distribution of furniture.
- Classroom decoration. - Make a list of what they need in the classroom and decide together where to place the calendar, the English corner...
- Decision and distribution of tasks – The class group needs all its members to function properly, so everyone has a necessary task.
- Decision of class guidelines and agreements. – Attitudes and actions that, if everyone takes them, help to function properly.



SCHOOL – Me and us, we are our school
"We want the student to make the school spaces their own so that they value and respect them. We also want him to feel accompanied throughout school life in his personal growth by another student from a higher year. Thus creating bonds to promote belonging to the school."
- Decision on guidelines and general school agreements. – Attitudes and actions that help the proper functioning of the school. In this case, the proposals of the class will be proposed by two representatives of each class at the secretaries' meeting.
- Twinning with other courses. - Adults and children will meet at various times during the course to share, learn together and establish bonds.
