Center's Digital Strategy
Padre Damián Sagrados Corazones School
The Center Educational Project (PEC) It is a document that includes the pedagogical, organizational and management lines of an educational center. It is a fundamental tool that guides the operation and development of education in that school.
The PEC It reflects the identity and values of the school and establishes the objectives and strategies to achieve them. This document is developed in a participatory manner by the entire educational community, including the management, teachers, students and parents, among other members of the school's staff.
The PEC is an instrument that allows coherence and continuity in the educational work of the center, and must be reviewed and updated periodically to adapt to the needs and challenges that arise. It is a reference for all people involved in the educational process and guides joint action to achieve the established educational objectives.

From the school we provide all the resources and plan actions so that the school becomes a key environment for our students in:
- Digital literacy: We live in an increasingly digital and connected society. It is essential that students acquire the skills necessary to navigate, understand and use information and communication technologies appropriately. Digital literacy will enable them to adapt to this changing digital environment and take advantage of the opportunities it offers.
- Access to information and knowledge: The Internet and digital technologies make an enormous amount of resources and information available to students. Digital competence will enable them to search, select, evaluate and critically use this information for learning and research. This will help them expand their knowledge and develop independent learning skills.
- Developing skills for the 21st century: Digital skills are increasingly essential for professional and personal success in the 21st century. Digital competence includes skills such as digital communication, online collaboration, problem solving with technology and digital creativity. These skills are essential for facing current and future challenges and for integration into today's society and economy.
- Promoting creativity and innovation: Digital technologies offer new possibilities for creation, expression and problem-solving in innovative ways. Digital competence allows students to develop creative skills and use various tools and platforms to present their ideas and projects in an original and effective way.
- Media and digital literacy: Digital competence includes media literacy, which involves understanding and critically interpreting messages and content in the media and social networks. This allows students to be aware of the values, influences and risks associated with digital technologies, such as fake news or online bullying.
Some of the CENTER OBJECTIVES in the digital field are:
- Fostering digital competence: Promoting and developing students' digital skills, ensuring they are competent in their use. This includes teaching research techniques, critical understanding of online information, cybersecurity and responsible use of social media.
- Integrate technologies as pedagogical tools: Leverage technologies as pedagogical resources to improve teaching and learning processes. This involves using educational platforms and applications, multimedia resources, online collaboration tools and other digital resources to strengthen student learning and motivation.
- Promote digital content creation: Encourage students to become active creators of digital content. This can include teaching skills such as video creation, programming, creating websites or blogs, and other forms of digital expression. In this way, critical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving skills are enhanced.
- Establish virtual learning environments: The aim is to develop virtual learning environments that complement face-to-face learning. These environments may include online educational platforms, virtual classrooms, digitized study materials, and other tools that allow students to access educational resources flexibly and collaborate with their peers and teachers through digital means.
