We start the second term with Petits Animalons
The 2nd grade students received a very special visit this first week of the year.
We have started the topic of vertebrate animals, and nothing better to get to know them well than to see and touch them.
Xenia has brought us two reptiles and two mammals. We talked about the characteristics of birds, fish and amphibians and we were able to check that we are on the right track with what we have learned.
We were able to hold and touch with great care and respect the different animals: The Gueco lizard, the Florida tortoise, the chinchilla and even Neus, a rabbit. They were all very playful and let us watch them up close!
During the following media sessions, we will delve more deeply into the characteristics of each of the groups of vertebrates.
