the <\/span>Kangaroo Tests<\/span><\/i>, organized by the <\/span>Catalan Mathematics Society<\/a> (SCM)<\/b> consist of 30 math challenge\/problem questions of increasing difficulty and closed-ended (5 possible options).\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/span><\/p>\n

Participants must solve the questions in 75 minutes<\/span>uts and no calculator. These tests began to be carried out in the 80s in Australia.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Currently more than 60 countries organize<\/span> <\/i>Kangaroo Tests<\/strong><\/span><\/i><\/a> within a program known as a<\/span> kangaroo<\/strong> sans Fronti\u00e8res<\/a>.\u00a0<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n

In Catalonia, they will be held simultaneously in all participating centers.<\/span><\/p>\n

Today we did one act of recognition<\/strong> with the students from 1st ESO to 1st Baccalaureate to all participants and a special congratulations to the best student of each level who scored in the tests within 5.5% of the best scores.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

1st high school<\/b> out of 19,347 participants, our student came in 417th position.<\/span><\/p>\n

2nd ESO<\/b> none of the students presented succeeded.<\/span><\/p>\n

3rd ESO<\/b> out of 15,838 participants, our students were in positions 385, 635 and 756.<\/span><\/p>\n

4th ESO<\/b> out of 10,619 participants, our students came in 47th, 305th and 330th positions.<\/span><\/p>\n

1st high school <\/b>out of 3,372 participants, our students came in 93rd and 156th positions.<\/span><\/p>\n
