This is what the <\/span><b>Bioethics<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, a branch of Ethics<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">relatively new (<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Van Rensselaer Potter, <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">1970) which is responsible for \u201cthe systematic study of human behavior in the area of life sciences and health care, when such behavior is examined in the light of moral values and principles\u201d.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">With this premise, the 1st year of Baccalaureate students have launched a project whose main objectives are to promote critical thinking, learn to debate by expressing one&#039;s own ideas with argumentative rigor and respect for the ideas of others, and conduct good research for information and oral presentation of knowledge, ideas and opinions.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This is a truly great project. <\/span><b>multidisciplinary<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> in which a good part of the subjects of 1st year of Baccalaureate (Social Action, Languages, English, Economics, Technology, Biology, Chemistry, CMC, Audiovisual Culture, Psychology and Philosophy) intervene. Each subject intervenes from its contents, enriching the project with well-chosen contributions.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The <\/span><b>SSCC Student Profile<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> is at all times the reference for the project, since the theme and richness of the project allows it to be worked on in a <\/span><b>very competent<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, providing tools to understand the <\/span><b>current world<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, but also to see how the <\/span><b>clinical decision making<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">All this from a very necessary reflective perspective if we want to know, for example, what the world could be like after the <\/span><b>COVID<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">That is why it has been used as an acronym that accompanies the project title: \u201c<\/span><b>BIOETHICS<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. <\/span><b>C<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">to collaborate, <\/span><b>Or<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">observe, <\/span><b>V<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">to ascend, <\/span><b>I<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">dear<\/span><b>, D<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&quot;to rent&quot;.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In addition to knowing the different areas of Bioethics (its principles, which anthropological model it follows, what methodology, how a <\/span><b>Healthcare Ethics Committee<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u2026) 1st year high school students will have to generate a \u201cfinal product\u201d capable of expressing what they have learned from the different subjects based on their own <\/span><b>research<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> i <\/span><b>reflection<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A good opportunity to learn and understand the world we live in, combining critical thinking, research, argumentative skills, dialogue and reflection on the <\/span><b>human dignity<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We believe that Bioethics is here to stay!<\/span><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Combine &quot;biological knowledge&quot; and &quot;human values&quot;.
